THERE'S A PLASTIC PROTECTIVE FILM ON BOTH SIDES OF EACH PIECE. PLEASE PEEL OFF BEFORE USE! Or don't, whatever floats your boat. But oftentimes the film itself looks scratched, so peel it off.
